DEHLI (Web Desk)-The much-awaited teaser of Welcome To The Jungle has finally arrived, giving audiences a glimpse into the madness, action, and comedy that await in the upcoming entertainer led by Akshay Kumar. After facing several production delays, the film is now officially scheduled to release in theatres on June 26. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the movie appears to blend slapstick humour with large-scale action sequences in true franchise style.
The teaser opens on a dramatic note, showing a heavily guarded border area near the Line of Control. Amid military tension and chaos, the scene quickly shifts into what seems to be a dangerous jungle-based film shoot. The makers cleverly blur the line between reel and real danger as the cast members, dressed in army uniforms and carrying weapons, march through dense forests unaware that an actual threat is lurking nearby.
One of the teaser’s funniest moments involves Paresh Rawal shouting “action” before Suniel Shetty accidentally injures Akshay Kumar’s character with a giant hammer. The chaos only escalates from there, with Suniel’s character tumbling from a height and the team repeatedly landing in absurd situations. The tagline, “Real danger and real idiots,” perfectly captures the film’s over-the-top comic energy.
The teaser also includes a humorous self-referential joke involving Akshay Kumar. In one scene, he suddenly stops walking during a mission, prompting Arshad Warsi to ask whether there is some kind of signal ahead. Akshay replies that he no longer wants to continue with the film. Tusshar Kapoor then reminds him about the massive paycheck involved, leading Akshay to jokingly remark that money always changes his mind. The scene appears to be a playful nod to the actor’s frequent film releases and commercial choices.
Towards the end, the teaser delivers complete mayhem as the group encounters a giant gorilla deep inside the jungle. What follows is a series of comic action moments, explosions, panic, and characters getting tossed around in every direction. The final scene, where Suniel Shetty repeatedly fires at Akshay while shouting, “Why won’t you die?”, leaves viewers with one last laugh before the teaser ends.
Alongside Akshay Kumar, the film features a massive ensemble cast including Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Rajpal Yadav and many more, making it one of Bollywood’s biggest multi-starrer comedy films in recent years.
