LAHORE: Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) Chairperson Sahibzadi Waseema Umer has intimated that PBTE is striving to bring the new technologies under dual diploma program to ensure that quality workforce shall be produced at national and international market.
Moreover, it was agreed that in order to excell in the skill development system, certain initiatives need to be taken up viz usage of Tang cloud platform for the quality assessment of conventional programs in Pakistan, extending further cooperation in assisting PBTE to digitize the assessment process, bringing latest technologies in the field of IT sector, Manufacturing sector, Engg sector, Robotics etc, and other fields of engineering.
She was addressing the delegation of Tang International Education China.

The matter regarding progress on Dual Diploma program was discussed in detail.
Mr. Li Jin Song, President Tang Internal China briefed about the working system of his organization and intimated the house that almost 1000 universities and institutes are getting benefit of Tang cloud platform by which the facilities of online classes, online assessment and record of day to day acadimia activities is maintained.
It was discussed in detail about the performance of the students studying in china.
The delegation showed their satisfaction about the academic activities being imparted to the Pakistani students in different programs of study.

It was also agreed to keep cooporation on go for which a need was felt to sign MOUs involving industry sector so that the TVET graduates under dual diploma program may get more opportunities of Job in national and international market especially, Chinese industries in Pakistan as well as at China side.

Mr. Li Jin song, President International Education proposed that in order to make students well understood about Chinese Language and culture, a new module shall be added in the Scheme of studies of dual diploma program. This will not only be a beneficial tool for the students while their studying in China but also it shall be helpful while doing jobs, especially in Chinese Industries.
At the end, the president Tang Internal Education expressed his best wishes to PBTE administration on account of taking interest on working with Tang International Education. He extended his interest to consider the proposals of Chairperson PBTE for the promotion of TVET sector and especial initiatives regarding skills upgradation of the students.
