LAHORE – (Web Desk) Pakistan will observe two official holidays in the final week of December 2025, recognising both a national occasion and a religious festival, according to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division.
As per the notification, December 25 will be a public holiday nationwide to mark Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas. The day commemorates the birth anniversary of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and is also celebrated by the Christian community across the country.

Meanwhile, December 26 has been declared an additional holiday exclusively for the Christian community, allowing them to continue their religious observances following Christmas.
Both holidays were already included in the federal government’s annual holiday calendar for 2025.
