LAHORE: A high-level delegation of American businessmen met Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, in the Punjab Assembly Chamber to discuss enhancing Pak–US trade relations. The meeting included prominent figures from both Pakistani and American business communities.
During the session, participants exchanged detailed views on promoting business-to-business linkages and ensuring effective coordination between the two countries. Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan emphasized Pakistan and the United States’ commitment to strengthening trade cooperation and taking bilateral relations to new heights.
He stressed the importance of promptly resolving challenges faced by business communities in both countries, noting that Pak–US relations are grounded in mutual trust and a strategic partnership. The Speaker also highlighted the role of the Pakistani-American community as a vital bridge in fostering bilateral cooperation.
