LAHORE: In punjab assembly session while discussing the budget of the financial year 2023-24 the opposition leader Ahmed Khan Bhachar said that 2633 billion rupees have been kept in the non-development budget of the province, of which only 525 billion rupees have been spent so far.

Despite the passage of six months from 842 billion rupees, only 124 billion rupees have been released, while two thousand six hundred and thirty three billion rupees were kept in the non-development budget, of which five hundred and twenty five billion rupees have been spent so far. He said that the government has neither a vision nor any planning for financial expenses.
In the House of Punjab Assembly, the government members attacked their own government for not building roads and the minister could not satisfy the C&W members and kept giving consolation.
the speaker criticized the opposition for giving a political color to the issue of water. The speaker said that if the government does not pay attention, after fifteen years we will crave for a drop of drinking water.
