LAHORE – Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana chaired an important meeting at the Capital City Police Headquarters to review and finalize the security arrangements for Basant celebrations.
Speaking during the meeting, CCPO Kamyana directed officers to ensure foolproof security, stressing that the police will leave no stone unturned to maintain peace and order.

He warned that a zero-tolerance policy would be enforced against aerial firing, and the law will swing into action immediately if any violations occur.
He further stated that motorcycle riding without safety wire during Basant would strictly not be allowed, saying safety must come first. To raise awareness, officers were instructed to make full use of mosque platforms to inform citizens about precautionary measures.
The CCPO also ordered a strict crackdown on drug-related activities, adding that ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for families and the public is the top priority of Lahore Police.
The meeting was attended by DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed, SSP (Operations) Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem, along with divisional SPs.
