Ferozepur Road traders meet LCCI leadership, present key business concerns

LAHORE – A 50-member delegation from Anjuman Tajran Ferozepur Road Board met today at Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) to congratulate the newly elected office-bearers and present pressing business concerns.

The delegation met LCCI President Faheem-ur-Rehman Sehgall, Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, Vice President Khurram Lodhi, and other chamber officials at Ameen Hall. The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the presentation of shields to LCCI officials and formal introductions of all representatives.

During the meeting, traders from Ferozepur Road highlighted key issues affecting their businesses and shared suggestions for improvement. The event concluded with a luncheon, fostering further dialogue and collaboration between the chamber and the traders’ community.

The meeting was attended by prominent office-bearers of the Ferozepur Road Board, including Chairman Chaudhry Mehboob Ali, Senior Vice President Chaudhry Khadim Hussain, Chaudhry Hamza Majeed, Haji Muhammad Umar, Tahir Mahmood Bhatti, and Chaudhry Nadeem Aslam.

LCCI President Faheem-ur-Rehman Sehgall welcomed the Ferozepur Road traders’ delegation and appreciated their active participation in highlighting business challenges. He said that LCCI is committed to providing a platform for traders to voice their concerns and work collaboratively for economic growth. Sehgall added that such interactions strengthen the bond between the chamber and local businesses, ensuring sustainable development for all sectors.

Senior Vice President Khadim Hussain emphasized that the concerns raised by traders are valuable and will be addressed effectively through proper channels. He highlighted that collaboration between LCCI and trader associations is key to creating a conducive business environment in Lahore. Hussain encouraged regular dialogue to identify and resolve issues that hinder local trade and commerce.

Chairman Ferozepur Road Board Chaudhry Mehboob Ali expressed that the delegation’s visit reflects the commitment of Ferozepur Road traders to contribute positively to Lahore’s business community. He stated that they are confident the LCCI leadership will support practical solutions for the challenges faced by traders. Mehboob Ali added that meetings like today’s provide an important platform to strengthen cooperation between traders and the chamber for mutual benefit.
