KARACHI, June 3, 2026 – After winning hearts with her performance in the hit television serial Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, actress Hania Aamir is reportedly preparing for her next major project, sparking fresh excitement among drama enthusiasts.

According to entertainment critic Ejaz Waris, Hania is expected to begin filming a new drama serial later this week. While an official announcement from the production team is still awaited, industry insiders suggest that the project is already in its early production phase.

The upcoming serial is reportedly being directed by Badar Mehmood, whose work on the widely acclaimed drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum earned praise from viewers and critics alike. The drama is expected to air on a private television network and is being written by renowned screenwriter Zanjabeel Asim Shah.

Although the production house has yet to reveal the official title, reports indicate that the working title of the project is Fanaa. Details regarding the storyline remain under wraps, adding to the curiosity surrounding the serial.

Speculation about the cast began shortly after reports emerged that Bilal Abbas Khan was being considered for the lead role opposite Hania. The possibility of the two stars sharing the screen once again generated significant buzz on social media, with fans eagerly anticipating their on-screen chemistry.

However, recent reports suggest that negotiations with Bilal Abbas Khan did not reach a final agreement. Sources familiar with the development claim that the production team is now exploring other options for the male lead role. An official announcement regarding the casting is expected in the coming weeks.

The project is also expected to mark one of Hania Aamir’s most notable television appearances following the success of Meri Zindagi Hai Tu. Industry observers believe the combination of a popular lead actress, an experienced director, and a respected writer could make the drama one of the most talked-about productions of the year.

While viewers await confirmation of the complete cast, storyline, and release schedule, reports suggest that Fanaa could premiere before the end of 2026, making it one of the most anticipated upcoming dramas on Pakistani television.
