LAHORE: Senior journalist and President of the National Women Journalists Forum, Farzana Chaudhry, was awarded a gold medal by the Idara-e-Farogh-e-Taleem (Institute for the Promotion of Education) in recognition of her outstanding journalistic performance and services; the award was presented by Chairman Tayyab Wark and Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali.
To celebrate this achievement, the forum’s executive body organized a magnificent ceremony in her honor. Attendees included National Women Journalists Forum General Secretary Darakhshanda Alamdar, Vice President Mubashra Sultan, senior journalists Sadia Salahuddin and Rafia Naheed Ikram, Lahore Press Club Governing Body member Rabia Azmat, Dr. Saima Iqbal, Lubna Khan, Iqra Mughal, Rehana Usmani, Sofia Yazdani, Information Secretary Nabila Akbar, Aini Bajwa, Afia Jahangir, Ujala Riaz, and others. They extended heartfelt congratulations to Farzana Chaudhry and warmly expressed their affection by presenting her with beautiful gifts.
