LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police have registered a case against social media influencer Nadeem Mubarak, popularly known as Naniwala, over allegations related to reckless driving and obstructing law enforcement officials.
According to police officials, the case was lodged at Defence C Police Station following a complaint submitted by traffic police personnel.
The First Information Report (FIR) states that officers attempted to stop a luxury vehicle that was allegedly being driven without a registration number plate. Instead of complying with the instruction, the driver reportedly accelerated and entered a one-way road, prompting authorities to initiate a pursuit.
Police further alleged that during the chase, the suspect drove in a manner that endangered public safety and attempted to collide with a police vehicle carrying officers.
Based on the complaint, authorities registered the case under provisions relating to negligent and reckless driving, interference in official duties and threatening a public servant. Further legal proceedings are currently underway.
Traffic police officials reiterated that enforcement operations against traffic violations will continue without exception. Authorities stated that motorists driving vehicles without number plates, using non-standard registration plates or displaying unauthorized blue and green beacon lights will face legal action.
Officials emphasized that traffic regulations apply equally to all citizens and that no special treatment would be extended to individuals found violating the law, regardless of their social status or public profile.
The case has attracted attention on social media due to Nadeem Mubarak’s online popularity, with users closely following developments in the matter.
Police have not released additional details regarding the investigation, which remains ongoing.
