LAHORE: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the nation stood united in the face of Indian aggression, demonstrating unwavering solidarity.

India is involved in the recent terrorism in Balochistan. Punjab local government institutions are of prime importance in the development of the country. He expressed these views while meeting the under training officers from Punjab Local Government Academy Lala Musa in Governor House Lahore. Various issues including the training of officers were also discussed in the meeting.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that India used the Pahalgam incident as an excuse to target innocent people and mosques in the dark of night. He said that Pakistan had categorically denied involvement in the Pahalgam incident. The Punjab Governor said that on the contrary, India continued its nefarious activities. He said that the Pakistan Army retaliated by targeting several Indian installations and crushed its pride. The Punjab Governor said that India will remember the destruction of Pakistani forces on its soil for many generations. The Punjab Governor said that India is involved in the recent terrorism in Balochistan. He said that these terrorists who play with innocent human lives will not be forgiven under any circumstances. The Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan further said that the institutions of the Punjab Local Government have special importance in the development of the country. He said that the local government system is the foundation of any democratic system. The Governor of Punjab said that the PPP believes in the local government system so that the public representatives can be truly empowered at the grassroots level. He said that the young generation should contribute to the development and progress of the country by staying positive. The Governor of Punjab, while emphasizing on public service delivery, said that government officials should create facilities for the people, especially the poor.
