LAHORE: Opposition members in the Punjab Assembly expressed their displeasure over the absence of government ministers in the House, the meeting had to be adjourned due to non-fulfillment of the quorum.

Opposition members Rana Aftab Ahmed and Rana Shahbaz drew the attention of the Panel of Chairpersons to the absence of ministers and parliamentary secretaries.
Rana Aftab Ahmed said that if there are no ministers in the House, who will answer the questions, ten government MPAs are sitting in the House, they are seeing for themselves how the House will function, Rana Shahbaz Assembly member said that we can indicate the quorum in the absence of ministers and parliamentary secretaries in the meeting.
Opposition member Rana Shahbaz raised slogans in the House, “he who is a friend of Modi is a traitor.”
The annual performance reports of the Punjab Forensic Science Agency for the years 2013-2023 were presented by the government in the House .
On not listening to the opposition, opposition member Waqas Mann indicated the quorum.
And when the quorum was not met, the panel Off-Chairperson Rahila Khadim Hussain adjourned the meeting until Tuesday.
