LAHORE: Global SME Business Home, an international organization based in Switzerland that promotes global business opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), has officially appointed the Pakistan Industrial Sewing Machines Importers and Dealers Association (PASMIDA) as its official partner in Pakistan.

Amna Ahmed Raza, the official representative and advisor of Global SME Business Home in Pakistan, issued a formal notification regarding the partnership. The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has also been informed of this development.
As part of the partnership, PASMIDA has been entrusted with the responsibility of supporting and coordinating the upcoming Pakistan Global Business Summit 2025, scheduled to be held in Lahore on July 3, 2025. The event aims to connect local businesses and SMEs with international markets and investors.
Additionally, the flagship international event of Global SME Business Home — Global SME Summit 2025 — is set to take place from September 3 to 5, 2025, at the Davos Congress Centre in Switzerland.
Speaking on the development, PASMIDA Vice Chairman Muhammad Yasin said, “It is a matter of great pride for our organization and for Pakistan that a global body like Global SME Business Home has selected us as its official partner. This collaboration will open doors for Pakistani exporters, industrialists, and SMEs to access global markets and build meaningful international partnerships.”
He added that PASMIDA will not only actively participate in upcoming international events hosted by Global SME Business Home but will also provide full support and guidance to Pakistani exporters, SMEs, manufacturers, and industrial stakeholders interested in joining these events.
The partnership is expected to boost business development, global networking, strategic collaborations, and provide access to Global SME Business Home’s membership opportunities for Pakistani entrepreneurs and businesses.
