LAHORE – In a major breakthrough, the Investigation Police Iqbal Town, under the directives of DIG Investigation Lahore Syed Zeeshan Raza, have arrested three members of the notorious Taji burglary gang during an ongoing crackdown against criminal elements.

According to SP Investigation Iqbal Town, the arrested suspects include the gang leader Taj Din alias Taji and his accomplices Allah Rakha and Muhammad Saeed. The gang was involved in multiple house burglaries, particularly targeting homes during the absence of residents.
In one high-profile incident, the suspects scaled the boundary wall of a house and stole Rs. 900,000 in cash, 3,500 US dollars, gold jewelry, batteries, a licensed pistol, and other valuables. Police successfully recovered all stolen items along with illegal weapons from the accused.
SP Investigation Sidra Khan confirmed that the suspects have confessed to committing several burglaries across different areas of Lahore. Their arrest was made possible through modern technology and human intelligence, she added.
The Investigation Officer stated that a strong case will be compiled based on solid evidence to ensure the culprits are brought to justice. DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza reiterated that protecting citizens’ lives and property remains the police’s top priority.
He also announced commendation certificates for the police team involved in the successful operation and vowed to deal with criminal elements with an iron hand.
