LAHORE: Aambassadors of Turkiye and Azerbaijan called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider in Islamabad. During the meeting, Turkish Ambassador Irfan Naziroglu and Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov congratulated the Governor Punjab on Pakistan’s brilliant victory in recent war against India , acknowledging the country’s unwavering spirit and strategic prowess.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan thanked the friendly countries that supported Pakistan during India, Pakistan conflict. He said that Pakistan’s armed forces destroyed India’s nefarious objectives through Operation Banyan Marsus. The Punjab Governor said that Pakistan will never compromise on its integrity and sovereignty. He said that all political parties have proven that everyone is on the same page for the sake of the country. He observed that the nation’s unity and patriotic zeal were palpable in the face of adversity. Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the whole world has seen that the Pakistani army is capable of countering all kinds of aggression. He said that India made allegations of Pahalgam drama on Pakistan without evidence. He said that the Pakistani media played a positive role and told the world that the Indian media had misled the world through false news. The Governor Punjab further said that Pakistan has always wanted peace, but this should not be considered our weakness. He said that Turkey and Azerbaijan have always supported Pakistan in difficult times.
