LAHORE: The Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) has strongly condemned the recent unprovoked and shameful act of aggression by India, terming it an open attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty and a grave violation of international norms.

The leadership of PFMA expressed deep concern over the missile strikes carried out by India, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent civilian lives, including children.
In a joint statement, PFMA Central Leader Asim Raza Ahmed, Central Chairman Badruddin Kakar, Punjab Chairman Riazullah Khan, Sindh Chairman Abdul Junaid, KP Chairman Muhammad Naeem Butt, and Balochistan Chairman Haji Abdul Waheed, along with other office-bearers, declared India’s actions as cowardly and strongly condemned the hostile provocation. They said such attacks are not only condemnable but also dangerous for the stability of the region.
The PFMA leadership reiterated their unwavering support to the Government of Pakistan and the Armed Forces during these testing times. As the representative body of the flour milling industry, the PFMA assured that the entire flour milling sector stands united with the nation’s defenders and will play its due role in maintaining internal stability.
They emphasized that in case of any emergency, the flour mills across the country will ensure uninterrupted supply of wheat flour — the staple food of the people. “The Pakistan Flour Mills Association is committed to fulfilling its responsibilities in providing basic food to the nation. We are ready to face any challenge alongside our Armed Forces and the government,” the statement said.
The PFMA office-bearers also appealed to the nation to maintain unity and support the armed forces in defeating all threats to national integrity. They urged the international community to take notice of India’s aggressive actions, which could destabilize regional peace.
The statement concluded with a heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of the Indian attack and a collective prayer for peace, safety, and the continued strength of Pakistan’s defense forces.
