LAHORE: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan People’s Party Central Punjab President Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that if India tries to attack Pakistan, they will give a befitting reply. Every Pakistani is ready to protect the motherland, they will defend their freedom to the fullest extent, the entire nation stands with the armed forces like a rock.

India is defaming Pakistan with traditional arrogance and malice. He was addressing a press conference and answering media questions at a local wedding hall organized by the PPP Sambrial along with General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza, Asif Bashir Bhagat, Ijaz Samma, Imtiaz Safdar Warraich, Raheel Kamran Cheema, Malik Tahir, Rana Abdul Aziz Ahsan Ghuman and Shahbaz Khan. On this occasion, Abdul Razak Saleemi, Azhar Dial, Riyaz Shah, Naveed Gorsi, Qamar Khan, Irshad Sindhu, Malik Nadeem, Kashif Gujjar, Imran Sarvia, Wadood Dar, Khalid Bajwa and others were also present. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf announced on the occasion that the PPP has nominated Raheel Kamran Cheema as the candidate for PP-52 Sialkot, while the in-charge of the election campaign will be Divisional President Gujranwala Asif Bashir Bhagat. The former prime minister said that the PPP has always represented every class. He will fight this election vigorously. He said that he is fighting with full planning to win the Sialkot by-election. He is sure that the organizations of the adjoining districts and tehsils will fight this election considering it as their own. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that our manifesto is to serve the people and solve their problems. Raheel Kamran Cheema will win and solve the problems of the people of Sialkot. On the question of India’s attack on Pakistan, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that this nation becomes a lead-lined wall when the time comes. He is sure that India will not dare to take any adventure. Pakistan itself is a target of terrorism, how can it be involved in such an incident. General Secretary PP Central Punjab Syed Hassan Murtaza said that this debate has started in India that there is no truth in the Pahalgam drama. Later, PPP leaders Raja Pervez Ashraf and Hassan Murtaza led the former ticket holder from PP-52 Sialkot, Zain Ghuman, to condole with his family on the death of his family and offered Fateha.
