LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar along with Provincial Minister for School Education Rana Sikandar Hayat paid a detailed visit to various public schools located in NA-126 and PP-168. Chairman of Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC), Bilal Zafar Khokhar, also accompanied them during the visit. The ministers thoroughly inspected the educational, training, and basic facilities at institutions including Government High School Niaz Baig.

During their interaction with students, the children raised concerns regarding the inconsistent electricity supply and the lack of access to clean drinking water. Taking immediate notice of the issues, the ministers directed the concerned officials of the Education Department and school administration to ensure the prompt installation of filtration plants and solar panels in the schools.
Furthermore, the ministers announced a series of measures for all public schools in the constituencies as well Establishment of state-of-the-art computer laboratories, Introduction of mechatronics technology training to help prepare students for careers in healthcare, including nursing and medicine, Increase in the number of teachers to further enhance the quality of education, Provision of additional classrooms and furniture,
Enhancement of cleanliness and environmental standards and with greater support from LWMC.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat stated that public schools are being upgraded to international standards under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz. He further assured that necessary funds will be released within this week to avoid any delays in the provision of educational facilities.
Provincial Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar reiterated his commitment to regularly visiting educational institutions in his constituency under the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, to ensure the delivery of all essential facilities and to spread the light of education to every child. Both ministers praised Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s pro-education policies and visionary leadership, and reaffirmed their resolve to provide quality education and improved facilities to every child in Punjab.
Chairman LWMC, Bilal Zafar Khokhar, also expressed his commitment to maintaining cleanliness around schools and ensuring continued support from his department.
