LAHORE – In line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, organized an open court at Police Station Chuhang to directly engage with the public and address their concerns.

The event was attended by SP Investigation Sadar, Moazzam Ali, DSPs Investigations, In-charges Investigations, investigating officers, and a large number of citizens. During the open court, people shared their grievances, particularly regarding case investigations and police behavior.
DIG Syed Zeeshan Raza listened to the complaints attentively and issued on-the-spot orders for their resolution. He took strict notice of substandard investigations, reprimanding some officers and issuing show-cause notices. He emphasized that no compromise on merit will be tolerated.
The DIG directed officers to resolve cases strictly on merit and instructed immediate redressal of public complaints related to investigations. He stated that protection of life and property is the investigation police’s top priority, and such open courts are essential to strengthening public trust and police-community relations.
He also urged officers to treat complainants with respect and improve their performance. “My office doors are always open for the public,” DIG Raza added, reaffirming his commitment to timely justice and maintaining law and order.
