LAHORE: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the PPP and the PML-N are allies and are united in the interest of the country. Encouraging sports among youth fosters physical and mental well-being, promotes teamwork, and builds resilience, contributing to a healthier society. He said this during a meeting with Provincial Minister for Sports and Labour Punjab, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar in Lahore.

Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the young generation is the asset of the country. He said that by promoting sports activities, the young generation can be protected from the scourge of drugs. The Governor Punjab said that only a healthy society can change the destiny of nations. He added that differences in politics are the beauty of democracy, but political differences should not be to the extent that they turn into personal differences. The Governor of Punjab said that the province is currently facing economic and other problems for which we all have to work together. He said that the PPP always took concrete steps for public welfare . The Governor of Punjab said that government resources must be ensured for development in various sectors and providing relief to the people.
In addition, Governor of Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Senator Pulwasha Khan’s father. He said that all sympathies are with the bereaved family in this hour of grief. The Governor of Punjab prayed that Allah Almighty may elevate the ranks of the deceased and grant patience to the bereaved family.
