LAHORE: Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, Mudassar Tipu called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore. During the meeting, discussion was held on promoting bilateral relations in the fields of trade, tourism and education.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that Pakistan and Iran have strong brotherly ties. He said that there should be exchanges of delegations of trade, especially chambers, between Pakistan and Iran. The Governor Punjab said that the plan to open an office in Mashhad for the convenience of Pakistani pilgrims is good initiative. He said that Iran can increase the trade by importing agricultural commodities, especially corn, from Pakistan. The Governor Punjab said that there should be exchanges of delegations of students and teachers between the two countries. He said that there is a need to promote trade relations between Pakistan and Iran.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Mudassar Tipu said that Iran attaches special importance to its relations with Pakistan. He said that Iran has vast potential for importing meat from Pakistan. He said that a plan to open an office in Mashhad is under consideration for the travel facilities of Pakistani pilgrims to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims

In addition, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan congratulated Noor Zaman on winning the Under 23 World Squash Championship title. He said that Noor Zaman has made the country and the nation proud. The Punjab Governor also expressed his best wishes for Noor Zaman’s future.
