MULTAN: City Police Officer (CPO) Multan, Sadiq Ali Dogar, has taken strict notice of an alleged incident where SHO New Multan, Shafique Ahmad, tortured a senior citizen. In response, the CPO has immediately suspended the SHO and ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Sources quoted CPO Sadiq Ali Dogar as emphasizing that no police officer is allowed to abuse their authority or mistreat citizens.
It was also said that the CPO vowed strict departmental action would be taken against any officer found guilty of misconduct or unlawful behavior.
