LAHORE: The NBP Progressive Officers Association Lahore hosted a prestigious event at Faletti’s Hotel to honor Khalid Farooq on his retirement, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the banking sector. Known as a top professional and dynamic banker, Farooq was celebrated for his dedication and exemplary career.

The organizing committee for the event included Sajjad Aslam Sheikh, Dr Zahid Iqbal (PhD), Akbar Siyal, Mumtaz Saddique Sindhu, Zulfiqar Ali, M Afsar Khan, Azam Khan, and Javed Khan, President of the NBP Progressive Officer Association Lahore.
The gathering was graced by distinguished guests, including Qazim Jafri (SVP), Raza Jafri (R) (VP), Asif Nassem (R) (VP), Muhammad Hanif (R) (VP), Agha Bilal (R) (Member Finance Crime, NAIB Department), Nazim Tufail (AVP), Rafiq Khan (AVP), Muhammad Rafiq (R) (AVP), Malik Mudasar (OG1), Adil Shah (Violin Master, OG2), Zeeshan Ahmad (OG1), Zahid Abbas (R) (OG2), and Tariq Razaq (R) (Accounts Officer, Audit and Accounts Department Punjab).
The evening commenced with a welcome speech and stage moderation by Dr Zahid Iqbal (PhD). Several notable speakers, including Sajjad Aslam Sheikh, Raza Jafri, Akbar Siyal, Kazam Jafri, and Adil Shah, shared their thoughts on Khalid Farooq’s legacy.
