SAILKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has suspended four Pakistan Customs officials for violating Civil Servants rules.
According to an official notification issued, the board invoked its powers under Rule-5(1) of the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020, to suspend the officials. The suspension will remain in place until the conclusion inquiry.
The suspended official belonged to Collectorate of Customs in Sambrial, Sialkot, include, Atif Hanif – Principal Appraiser (Time Scale-17), Adnan – Appraising Officer (BS-16), Muhammad Anique Jamil – Inspector (BS-16),and Adeel Qurban – Appraising Officer (BS-16).
The disciplinary proceedings against these officials will be conducted in accordance with the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020. These proceedings are designed to provide a fair and impartial platform for investigating alleged misconduct and determining appropriate actions based on the findings.
