LAHORE: Mian Abuzar Shad, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), has met with renowned religious scholar Dr. Zakir Naik to discuss matters of mutual interest, focusing on the role of Islamic teachings in economic development.
During the meeting, Mian Abuzar Shad appreciated Dr Zakir Naik’s contributions to promoting Islamic values and highlighted the importance of spreading Islamic teachings in contemporary times. “The promotion of Islamic teachings is crucial for the current era,” said Mian Abuzar Shad, highlighting that adhering to these principles could greatly benefit both individuals and businesses.
Dr. Zakir Naik stressed the need for economic growth based on Islamic principles, stressing that the Muslim world should adopt these teachings to achieve sustainable progress. “Adhering to Islamic principles can ensure success in business,” he said, adding that values such as honesty and justice were fundamental to commercial success.
