LAHORE: The Car Dealers Association has announced its full support for the Vision Alliance in the upcoming Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections, expressing strong resolve to work for the victory of its presidential candidate Ali Hussam Asghar.
Addressing a gathering of the business community, Car Dealers Association Chairman Shehzada Saleem Khan expressed strong support for Ali Hussam Asghar and said the association would stand behind him and the Vision Alliance in the chamber elections.
The gathering reflected the Vision Alliance’s continuing efforts to mobilise support among different sectors of Lahore’s business community ahead of the polls.
Ali Hussam Asghar thanked the car dealers and business representatives for their support, saying their confidence strengthened his resolve to work for effective representation of traders and industry at the LCCI. He said the business community needed a chamber leadership that remained accessible to its members and pursued their legitimate concerns with the relevant authorities.
The event was hosted by LCCI Executive Committee member Hafiz Sajjad and EC candidate Chaudhry Shahab Basharat.
Senior Vice Chairman Founders Group Chaudhry Khadim Hussain and Vice Chairman Haji Muhammad Akram also attended, along with Vision Alliance candidates contesting from the Associate Class.
