DASKA (By Our Correspondent) – Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan visited Ghalib House, the residence of Rana Mahmood Ashraf, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ticket holder for NA-73, and Rana Farooq Ashraf, PPP ticket holder for PP-50, in Daska.
The Governor was accompanied by Choudhary Arshad Jutt, Vice President PPP Central Punjab; Abdul Razzaq Saleemi, Divisional General Secretary PPP; and Sardar Ashraf Hayat, Divisional President PPP Rawalpindi.
Upon arrival, Governor Saleem Haider Khan was warmly welcomed by Rana Farooq Ashraf, Choudhary Asif Gujjar, PPP candidate for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly from LA-35; Haji Asghar Gujjar, Tehsil President PPP Daska; Malik Hassan, General Secretary PPP Tehsil Daska; Choudhary Jameel Advocate, City President PPP Daska; Moazzam Shafi Mughal, City General Secretary; Zulfiqar Bhola, Vice President; Gulfam Choudhary, Information Secretary PPP City Daska; Asif Mughal, Information Secretary PPP Tehsil Daska; Rana Maqsood Ashraf, Senior PPP leader from Tehsil Daska, along with party workers and local notables.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the upcoming AJK elections, including campaign strategy, organisational matters and arrangements for the scheduled public gathering on July 28.
The participants also held consultations regarding the August 2 AJK elections and reviewed measures to strengthen party coordination and mobilisation efforts.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, with PPP leaders reaffirming their commitment to unity, organisational strength and an effective election strategy for the upcoming electoral contest.
