LAHORE: Omer Ayub Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has resigned to focus on his role as leader of the opposition in National Assembly.

Ayub expressed gratitude to Imran Khan for accepting his resignation, submitted on June 22.
This development comes amid internal conflict within the PTI ranks with some of the lawmakers considering resigning from the NA to protest the leaderships’ inability to secure Imran Khan’s release from the jail.
Ayub’ resign may lead to further change in PTI’ organisational structure.
