LAHORE: Member SAARC Chamber and former Senior Vice President Federal Chamber Khawaja Shahzeb Akram has said that the government is striving for economic prosperity and development of the country.
The federal government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif and the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif is taking vigorous measures to promote investment and prevent inflation. It is being planned to give several incentives to investors to start new businesses without fear and risk. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of investors in his office here yesterday. He said that the investors are also ready to cooperate for the development of their beloved home land. Khawaja Shahzeb Akram further said that due to the poor economic policies of the previous government, the economy has suffered irreparable damage and the country has gone down economically. He said that the present government worked day and night for the improvement of the country’s economy during its tenure in the past and took the country on the path of development which is commendable. He said that the government will provide full facilities to investors so that new industries are set up across the country and employment opportunities are available to the young generation. This initiative will reduce unemployment and boost the economy of the country.[:]
