LAHORE: Punjab Governor Sardar Salim Haider has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will soon regain its lost position in Punjab.

He was meeting PPP senior leader Orangzeb Barki and others on Tuesday.
The Punjab governor said the doors of Governor’s House would always be open for the workers of province.
He said the Punjab governor would give top priority to solving the problems of PPP workers.
“Workers are our capital and will strengthen the PPP in Punjab under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari,” he said.
Barki said the partywas required to organise the Party in Punjab, especially in Lahore.
However, the reorganisation must take place in consultation with the Party workers, he said.
The workers are in no mood to be treated as tissue papers, he said, adding the party workers would not welcome any appointment which is recommended by the outgoing Punjab office bearers who left shameful legacy on account of their activities.
