Son-in-law arrested for strangling mother-in-law in Raiwind

Raiwind, Lahore โ€“ The Lahore Investigation Police have solved the shocking murder of 62-year-old Raiysa Bibi, whose death had mystified the local community. Police revealed that the prime suspect was her son-in-law, who killed her during a domestic dispute.

DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, took notice of the case and directed an immediate investigation. SP Investigation Central, Moazzam Ali, led a dedicated team to apprehend the suspect. Incharge of Raiwind City Investigation, Jamshed Abbas, along with the police team, successfully arrested the accused.

Police stated that the suspect lived in the victimโ€™s house and, after committing the murder by strangulation, actively participated in funeral arrangements. The arrest was made using professional expertise and modern investigative technology.

DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza emphasized that the suspect is now in custody, and a strong challan will be prepared to ensure a just punishment. He stressed that individuals who commit violence against women and children will not be shown any leniency. The DIG also announced commendation certificates for the police team involved in the investigation.
