LAHORE, November 6: Lahore Police has made comprehensive security arrangements for the Raiwind Tableeghi Ijtema to ensure the safety of participants and the smooth flow of traffic during the congregation.

According to the Lahore Police spokesperson, a total of over 3,800 police officers and personnel, including 3 SPs, 10 DSPs, 41 SHOs, 252 upper subordinates and more than 1,000 traffic police officials, have been deployed to ensure comprehensive security and maintain a smooth flow of traffic.
For the convenience of participants, 14 police camps have been established at various locations within the congregation area. In addition, 3 entry points, 20 checkpoints and 40 walk-through gates have been set up to ensure effective monitoring. The venue and its surroundings are under continuous surveillance through 128 CCTV cameras, while a special control room has been established at the AC Raiwind office for real-time monitoring of security operations.
The spokesperson added that the first phase of the congregation will continue from November 6 to 9.
Meanwhile, Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana said that foolproof measures had been put in place for the safety of all participants. He directed that biometric verification of attendees be ensured and instructed supervisory officers to maintain constant coordination with the organizers.
He further stated that the congregation was being continuously monitored through the Punjab Safe Cities Authority cameras. He instructed officers and personnel to remain fully alert, keep a close watch on suspicious persons or activities and take immediate action in case of any emergency.
The CCPO also urged participants to promptly inform the police about any suspicious object or activity. He said that a dedicated team of traffic police personnel had been deployed to manage parking and traffic flow in an organized manner.
He emphasized that police officers stationed at entry and exit points should interact courteously with participants, while attendees should cooperate with the police during security checks. He added that search and combing operations were being carried out in nearby localities to ensure peace and order throughout the congregation.
