LAHORE, October 31 — SSP Investigation Lahore, Muhammad Naveed, chaired a crime meeting at the Investigation Headquarters to review the progress of pending and under-investigation cases. The meeting was attended by In-charges of Investigation and Readers.

During the session, SSP Muhammad Naveed examined detailed progress reports and directed officers to expedite the submission of challans for all pending cases to the courts without delay. He issued warnings to several Investigation In-charges over poor performance, granting them a one-week deadline to improve their efficiency.
He further emphasized the need to utilize all available resources for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and instructed officers to ensure that all records in their respective police stations are updated in accordance with the POLCOM system.
Highlighting zero tolerance for crimes against women and children, SSP Naveed said that those involved in sexual exploitation of women and children deserve no leniency. He urged officers to prepare strong challans based on solid evidence to ensure strict punishment for offenders.
The SSP also warned that negligence in duty or misuse of authority would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He directed officers to ensure prompt redressal of citizens’ complaints and provide immediate relief to victims, stressing that every officer must play an active role in delivering justice.
