LAHORE – The NBP Progressive Officers Association, Registered Lahore, organized a heartfelt farewell party two days ago in honor of Syed Kazim Hasnain Jafree, Senior Vice President (East Region Lahore), and Zulfiqar Ali, Officer Grade II, on the occasion of their retirement after decades of dedicated service to the National Bank of Pakistan.

The event took place at Indigo Hotel, Liberty, Gulberg III, Lahore, where colleagues, friends, and distinguished guests gathered to pay tribute to the retirees’ outstanding contributions.
Mr. Jaffree retired on February 28, 2025, after rendering 30 years of spotless service, while Mr. Zulfiqar Ali, who joined NBP on November 16, 1995, retired on August 8, 2025, from the Sadar Bazar Branch, Lahore.
The farewell was hosted by Javed Khan (President) and Khalid Farooq (Chairman) of the NBP Progressive Officers Association. Notable guests included Farooq Qadir, Mumtaz Ali Khan, Mian Sagheer, Asif Naseem, Raza Jafri, Ali Zulqernain, Kamran Rubani, Muhammad Ali, Rafiq Ahmed, Adil Shah, Naseer Ahmed, Mian Naveed, and Zahid Abbas.
Speaking on the occasion, President Javed Khan said: “We feel proud to honor two outstanding colleagues whose careers have been marked by integrity, commitment, and service to the National Bank of Pakistan. Their contributions will always be remembered as a guiding light for future generations of officers.”
Members of the organizing committee—Akbar Ali Siyal, Dr. Zahid Iqbal (PhD), Ch. Naseer Ahmad, Umer Farooq, Mian Saghir, Afsar Khan, Azam Khan, Mumtaz Sindhu, Zahid Abbas, Khalid Farooq, and Javed Khan—ensured that the farewell turned into a sweet and memorable evening.
