LAHPRE: National Women Journalists Forum organized a gathering for Milad-un-Nabi at Lahore Press Club in collaboration with Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Women’s Department, Hamdard Foundation and Marhaba.

The gathering of Milad-un-Nabi began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by female naat reciters Rizwana Tanveer and Maimuna Mudassar, journalists Farah Hashmi, Iman Fatima, and Aafia Maqbool presenting Naat Rasool Maqbool.
The event was presided over by Senior Vice President (Najaf) Kanwal Naseem. The special guests were MPA Fatima Begum, MPA Sumbal Malik, Vice President of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Women’s Department and Director Media Samina Ahmed, and President National Women Journalists Forum Farzana Chaudhry.
While the names of special guests included Rifat Sajid, Central Secretary Information Women Wing Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (Q), senior journalist Farah Warraich, Central Information Secretary of Muslim League Q Women Wing Rifat Sajid, Sadia Salahuddin, Farah Hashmi, Rafia Naheed Ikram, Fawzia Hamid, Fawzia Goveer, Tamsila Chishti, Vice President of Najaf Mubashara Sultan and Azka Maqsood, General Secretary Darakhshanda Alamdar, Finance Secretary Rabia Azmat, Information Secretary Nabila Akbar, Secretary Coordinator Lubni Khan, Gulnaz Nawab, Shumaila Iqbal, Iffat Alvi, Khawla Arshad, Sofia Yazdani, Zubaida Anwar Khan, Safia Nasir, Nabila Shaheen.
Vice President of Halqa Khawatan Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Samina Saeed, has said that there is no one greater than the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a preacher, ruler and a military leader.
Sumbal Malik, Member of Punjab Assembly, said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came as a prophet for the world of humanity and established an Islamic welfare state. He was the greatest politician in the world. Fatima Begum, Member of Punjab Assembly, said that every aspect of the Holy Prophet’s personality is a beacon of light. Special guest, Riffat Sajid, said that the mission of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is to enjoin good and forbid evil, which is to be kept alive until the Day of Judgment.
A large number of female journalists, female writers and dignitaries participated in the Milad Mehfil organized by the National Women Journalists Forum at the Press Club. In which Safia Malik Sabri, Rehana Usmani, Advocate Sadia, Raheela Mughal, Tehzeen Tahir, Ujala Riaz, Zahida Parveen, Iqra Liaquat, Mubashara Anwar, Ayesha Fayyaz, Shaheen Rashid, Saima Nazir, Maimuna Siddiqa, participated in the Milad-un-Nabi gathering. Huma Sheikh, Ismat Osama, Kanwal Behzad, Saba Chaudhry, Rukhsana Liaquat, Shaheen Wark, Farah Alvi, Shaheen, Rubina Shaheen, Yasmin Zafar, Najma Shaheen, Fawzia Sultana, Iman Fatima and other women participated. Milad-un-Nabi gathering was organized at the Nulists Forum Lahore Press Club with the support of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Women’s Department, Hamdard Foundation and Marhaba. The Milad-un-Nabi gathering began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which female naat khwa Rizwana Tanveer and Maimuna Mudassar, journalists Farah Hashmi, Iman Fatima, Aafia Maqbool presented Naat Rasool Maqbool and set the mood for the gathering. Senior Vice President (Najaf) Kanwal Naseem presided over the function.
