LAHORE: In celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, a grand Langar was arranged at Khokhar Palace, Lahore. The annual 12th Rabi-ul-Awal procession, which began from Samsani village and passed through various areas, culminated at Khokhar Palace, where participants of the procession and a large number of locals were served food.

Addressing the gathering, Provincial Minister for Sports and Labour Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the birth of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is a blessing and guidance for all humanity. He added that the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ is a perfect model for us, and the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ promote brotherhood, tolerance, and compassion. He emphasized that the youth should adopt the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ as their guiding light, as the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ spreads the message of unity and love. He further remarked that today is also Pakistan Defence Day, which combined with the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, has doubled the joy of the day.
MNA and PML-N Lahore President Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar said that the Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ procession is a true expression of the public’s devotion to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He appreciated the overwhelming participation of the people in the celebrations. He further said that Islam’s message is one of love, peace, and brotherhood, and public service and fraternity are the hallmark of the Khokhar family. On the occasion, he also paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan’s armed forces, stating that their supreme sacrifices enable us to breathe in a free atmosphere today.
The event was also attended by Malik Afzal Khokhar, Malik Shahbaz Khokhar, Malik Shafi Khokhar, Malik Irfan Shafi, along with a large number of local residents.
