LAHORE: TDCP Holds Mehfil-e-Milad and Defence Day Tribute. The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) organized a graceful Mehfil-e-Milad at the Sightseeing Bus Terminal, Lahore, to mark the 1500th Birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and to honor Pakistan Defence Day.

The ceremony was graced by Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, Secretary Tourism, Archaeology & Museum Department, as Chief Guest, while Mr. Asim Raza, Managing Director TDCP, senior officials, and a large number of citizens attended with devotion and reverence.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by Na’at Sharif in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta highlighted the Prophet’s (PBUH) universal message of peace, tolerance, justice, and compassion, urging Muslims to embody his Sunnah in every aspect of life. Mr. Asim Raza, MD TDCP, added that following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the true source of guidance and light for humanity.
Following the Mehfil, a walk was held to pay tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan Armed Forces, where participants expressed solidarity, respect, and gratitude for their sacrifices. Later, TDCP arranged a special Double Decker Bus tour to Wagah Border, where citizens witnessed the traditional flag-lowering ceremony and paid homage to the defenders of Pakistan. The program concluded with a heartfelt Dua for the peace, prosperity, and stability of Pakistan and for the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
Through these spiritual and patriotic events, TDCP reaffirmed its commitment to promoting cultural, social, and spiritual harmony, while strengthening national pride and unity across Punjab.
