ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a nationwide public holiday on Saturday, September 6, to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

According to an official notification issued by the Cabinet Division with the approval of the Prime Minister, all government and private offices, educational institutions, and departments will remain closed on the occasion.
Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) is observed every year with great reverence and devotion across Pakistan. The day is marked by religious gatherings, processions, and special prayers, as people pay homage to the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
