LAHORE: A grand launch ceremony of “Bedari Ka Safar”, authored by Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mian Abuzar Shad, was held at the Governor House Lahore. The prestigious event was attended by Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider, LCCI Senior Vice President Engineer Khalid Usman, Vice President Shahid Nazir Chaudhry, members of the Executive Committee, leading industrialists, educationists, journalists and prominent figures from civil society.
Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider lauded Mian Abuzar Shad’s literary contribution, saying that his book is a valuable asset for both the youth and the business community. He said that in the present era, Pakistan needs such intellectual and scholarly efforts which can provide awareness, vision and courage to the nation. He also observed that the book, which highlights the issues faced by the business community and their potential solutions, will also serve as a guiding document for policymakers.
While paying tribute to Mian Abuzar Shad, the participants said that he is not just a business leader but also a writer with a national perspective.
In his address, Mian Abuzar Shad elaborated on the objectives and background of his book. He said “Bedari Ka Safar” is not merely a book but a compilation of experiences and observations he has gathered as a trader, industrialist and business leader. He said that through this book, efforts have been made not only to highlight the challenges faced by the new generation in the economic sphere but also to guide them towards new avenues of growth and success.
Speaking on the occasion, LCCI Senior Vice President Engineer Khalid Usman said that “Bedari Ka Safar” is a true reflection of the business community’s real issues and enhances the prestige of the Lahore Chamber. He said that the book will not only guide the current business class but also serve as a reliable reference for future generations.
LCCI Vice President Shahid Nazir Chaudhry said that Mian Abuzar Shad has effectively presented business conditions, economic challenges and their possible solutions through his pen in a comprehensive manner. He added that the book will prove to be a beacon of light for young people aspiring to move forward in practical life.
Industrialists, journalists and intellectuals participating in the ceremony also praised Mian Abuzar Shad’s scholarly and intellectual endeavor, observing that in the prevailing circumstances, the book will provide guidance to both the business community and the government.
