LAHORE – Director General PEMRA, Ms. Ayesha Manzoor Wattoo, has praised Sundas Foundation for its outstanding services in saving lives and serving the cause of public welfare.

Speaking to the media during her visit to Sundas Foundation Lahore, she said the organization is “truly working to save the lives of innocent children suffering from Thalassemia and other blood disorders.”
Ms. Wattoo highlighted that more than 10,000 Thalassemia patients are receiving treatment at the institution with world-class medical facilities. She noted that the laboratories and blood transfusion system are state-of-the-art and exemplary.
Emphasizing the need for collective support, she urged philanthropists to contribute generously to this noble cause and appealed to the public to donate blood. “Just one bottle of blood can provide three vital components that give patients a new hope for life,” she said.
She also called upon the government to extend maximum support to institutions like Sundas Foundation to provide relief to underprivileged segments of society. Paying tribute to renowned columnist and writer Munnu Bhai, she described the Foundation as a living legacy of his selfless struggle and commitment to humanitarian service.
Earlier, Dr. Adnan Gillani, Medical Director of Sundas Foundation, gave her a detailed briefing on patient treatment, blood supply systems, advanced laboratories, and the free medical services being provided.
At the conclusion of the visit, Muhammad Yaseen Khan, Founder and President of Sundas Foundation, presented a commemorative shield to Ms. Wattoo, terming her visit a source of encouragement for the organization.
