The Women’s National Selection Committee has revealed a 15-member Pakistan squad for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, scheduled from September 30 to November 2.
This squad will also compete in a three-match ODI series against South Africa at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from September 16 to 22.

The team includes uncapped batter Eyman Fatima, who debuted in T20Is against Ireland, and is led by Fatima Sana, who captained Pakistan to a perfect record in the ICC Women’s CWC Qualifier in Lahore earlier this year, securing their spot in the World Cup hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will play all group-stage matches at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, with potential semi-final (October 29) and final (November 2) matches also in Colombo.
Six players—Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, and Syeda Aroob Shah—will make their ODI World Cup debut. Eyman (20), Shawaal (20), and Aroob (21) previously played in the inaugural ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2023.
The squad sees two changes from the Qualifier team, with Eyman and Sadaf replacing Gull Feroza and Najiha Alvi, who join Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani, and Waheeda Akhtar as non-traveling reserves. A 14-day training camp, including practice matches, starts August 29 under coach Muhammad Wasim. South Africa’s team arrives in Lahore on September 12.
