LAHORE: Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the people of Palestine, stating that the nation stands with them in every difficult hour.

On Saturday, the third consignment of 100 tons of relief goods was dispatched from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, for the people of Gaza.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said the relief efforts reflect Pakistan’s principled stance and the spirit of Islamic brotherhood. He lauded the commendable coordination and logistical arrangements provided by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Alkhidmat Foundation.
With the latest dispatch, the total number of consignments has reached 19, carrying 1,915 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza. The consignment will reach Gaza via Al-Arish, Egypt.
The relief goods include food packs, ready-to-eat meals, beverages, and other essential items. The Speaker prayed for the safe arrival of the aid and stressed the importance of ensuring its delivery to the deserving recipients without delay.
Meanwhile, President of Alkhidmat Foundation, Professor Hafeez ur Rehman, said the Government of Pakistan is extending full cooperation in this humanitarian mission.
