LAHORE – The Reformers Alliance Group of the Lahore Gymkhana Club held its first official meeting at the Lahore Grand Marquee, located on Zafar Ali Road. The gathering was attended by several senior members of the club, including Dr. Junaid, Sardar Kamil Umar, Shahid Iqbal, Iqbal Shafiq, Umar Zaman Khan, Babar Zaman Khan, Kashif Nasir, Wasif Nasir, and Raza Baqir, among others, including some founding members of Lahore Gymkhana.

Senior member Qamar Khan Bobby addressed the participants, expressing serious concerns over decisions made in violation of merit and ongoing corruption within the club. He emphasized that such practices would no longer be tolerated.
During the meeting, it was decided that sub-committees would be formed in the next session of the alliance to present actionable proposals aimed at transforming Lahore Gymkhana into a high-standard, family-friendly club.
The group also resolved to raise a strong voice against corrupt and dishonest elements and to bring forth honest and sincere leadership in the upcoming club elections. The Reformers Alliance announced that their official manifesto would be unveiled before the elections, with a firm commitment to its implementation if elected to office.
