Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, while addressing an environment event , said that a lot of work is being done on AQI in Punjab. Actions are being taken against vehicles emitting smoke. For the first time, a mobile fuel testing lab has been set up. In the last eight months, eight hundred electric buses have been run across Punjab. In the next four years, we will have a green transport. We are bringing a green credit program for the youth of the country. We face difficulties due to burning of crop residues in Indian Punjab areas. We are also working to make Punjab plastic-free. All plastic factories in Punjab are being registered. If children do not go to school due to smog, then see how much damage is caused. Smog is not a calamity from Allah, what is our fault? We have to fix smog. Wonderful work is being done at the federal and Punjab levels. Big projects are coming. Anti-smog systems are being built and anti-smog guns are being installed.
