LAHORE: Former Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry has congratulated prominent industrialist and former Chairman of the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association, Chaudhry Waheed Arshad on his success in the recent elections of Bahawal Gymkhana, Bahawalpur.

Zahid Chaudhry called on Waheed Arshad at his office and extended his felicitations on his election as Secretary of the historic institution.
Speaking on the occasion, Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry said that Waheed Arshad’s victory reflects the trust, confidence, and popularity he enjoys among the trader community and social circles of Bahawalpur. He remarked that Waheed Arshad’s election is a matter of pride not only for Bahawalpur but for the business community across Pakistan. Zahid Chaudhry recalled Waheed Arshad’s valuable services as Central Chairman of the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association, stating that his contributions are widely acknowledged and appreciated by traders and industrialists.
Expressing optimism, Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry said he hoped that under Chaudhry Waheed Arshad’s leadership, the Bahawal Gymkhana—an institution of historical significance—would witness further development and emerge as a model platform for the community.
Chaudhry Mahmood Majeed, Adeel Bhatti, and Chaudhry Faheem Aslam were also present during the meeting.
