A large number of citizens, along with the In-charge Complaint Cell, participated in the session. Citizens individually presented their grievances to the SSP Investigation, who attentively listened and took immediate action on several complaints.

SSP Muhammad Naveed issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for the prompt redressal of citizens’ issues. In some cases, he personally called the relevant officers to ensure swift action. He also reprimanded a few investigation officers over poor investigation practices and issued show-cause notices.

The SSP emphasized that all cases must be resolved strictly on merit, ensuring justice and transparency.

He said the purpose of holding open courts is to strengthen communication between the public and the police, adding that timely justice and the rule of law are being ensured.

“Providing immediate justice to citizens is key to maintaining peace and order,” said SSP Naveed, reaffirming his commitment to merit-based and fair investigations.

He further instructed officers to treat visiting citizens courteously and to enhance their performance.

“Police officers must stand with citizens in every difficult moment,” SSP Naveed said, adding, “My office doors are always open for the public to resolve their problems.”
