ISLAMABAD: Federal Health Minister Mukhtar Ahmad said Pakistan and Russia share strong brotherly relations rooted in mutual cooperation and trust, which will continue to grow over time.
Addressing a ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the Association of Pakistani Graduates from Russia and CIS, the minister said Pakistan can benefit greatly from Russia’s knowledge, technology, and experience. He noted that Pakistani students pursuing higher education in Russia are contributing positively to national development upon their return.
The event was attended by prominent figures including Dr. Shahid Hasan, Dr. Ashraf Nizami, Russian diplomat Gleb Shobin, Anara, Buddhapriya Ramana, Dr. Najm-us-Sahar Butt, Dr. Nadeem Ahmad Bhatti, Amjad Hussain Rizvi, Engineer Hasnain Mirza, and Dr. Musadiq Hussain.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shahid Hasan said graduates from Pakistan and abroad participated in large numbers and are serving the country across various sectors with their expertise.
Russian diplomat Gleb Shobin praised the association’s role in strengthening bilateral ties and assured continued support from his government, stating that Russia stands shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan.
