LAHORE: The National Businessmen Group organised a cake-cutting ceremony and inaugurated its Area Office at Hall Road to mark one year of the historic victory of Pakistan’s armed forces in “Maarka-e-Haq”.
Business leaders and traders paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces, praising their role in defeating enemy designs and safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.
Speaking at the ceremony, Group Leader Usman Malik said the courageous soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces deserved the highest appreciation for their outstanding performance in Maarka-e-Haq. He said the armed forces had given a befitting response to the enemy and foiled all hostile intentions with courage and professionalism.
Chairman Anjuman-e-Tajran Ataur Rehman Jatt also addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of unity and patriotism among the business community. He said traders stood shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces for the defence and stability of the country.
The ceremony was also attended by Executive Council Member of NBG Sheikh Muhammad Ali, Chaudhry Zohaib, Waseem Shabbir, Malik Ahmad and Muhammad Rizwan.
Prominent Hall Road trader leaders including Chughtai Sahib and Manzoor Sahib along with their teams also participated in the event.
Participants reiterated their commitment to promoting collective leadership within the business community and pledged to replace the culture of “one-man show” politics with unity and consultation.
