Marka-e-Haq symbolizes Pakistan’s sovereignty, unity, and strength: Speaker Punjab Assembly

By Our Correspondent

LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has said that “Marka-e-Haq” is not merely a military success but a powerful symbol of Pakistan’s honor, dignity, sovereignty, and national pride. Addressing a ceremony held at Town Hall Lahore, he said that the world has been clearly reminded that Pakistan is a responsible yet self-respecting state which prioritizes peace but never compromises on its security and sovereignty under any circumstances.

He said that “Marka-e-Haq” has proven that a stance based on truth and justice can never be weakened; rather, it becomes stronger with time. He added that Pakistan has rendered more than one hundred thousand sacrifices in the war against terrorism, and despite these sacrifices, baseless allegations against Pakistan are unjust and unacceptable.

The Speaker said that any allegation must be based on evidence; however, India has failed to present any credible proof in support of its claims against Pakistan. He further stated that “Marka-e-Haq” reflects the unity of the nation, the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces, and strong national leadership.

Paying rich tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said that under the professional leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the armed forces demonstrated courage, resilience, and operational excellence, delivering a decisive response to the enemy and sending a clear message that Pakistan’s sovereignty will always remain uncompromised.

He further stated that Pakistan has consistently prioritized diplomacy as a responsible state. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the country has achieved significant and historic success on the diplomatic front, strengthening Pakistan’s global position.

The Speaker also appreciated Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Suthra Punjab Program,” saying it is not only a practical initiative to improve cleanliness across the province but also an important step towards building a healthier and more civilized society.

He lauded the role of the Pakistani media, stating that it has responsibly projected the national narrative, while Pakistan’s defense capabilities have delivered a clear message to the world that national sovereignty will always be defended at all costs.

The ceremony was attended by Member Provincial Assembly Chaudhry Amjad Ali Javed, Shehar Bano, former Deputy Mayor Ejaz Hafeez, Hasnain Haider Kazmi, Chairman Mehboob Bhatti, President Ansar Dogar, and a large number of party workers.
