LAHORE: Lahore Police achieved remarkable results in 2025 through a comprehensive crackdown against proclaimed offenders, arresting a total of 33,798 individuals and bringing them to justice.

According to a statement issued on Monday by a Lahore Police spokesperson, intensified operations were also conducted against court absconders, leading to the arrest of 23,019 suspects. In addition, sustained efforts to dismantle organized crime networks resulted in the apprehension of 11,523 target offenders.
Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana stated that the drive against proclaimed offenders was ongoing across the city. He said both human intelligence and modern technology were being effectively employed to track down and arrest wanted criminals.
The CCPO added that Lahore Police were also focusing on securing convictions of proclaimed offenders through the courts. Reaffirming the department’s commitment, he said every Lahore policeman stood “like a wall of lead” against criminal elements, with all available resources being utilized to maintain peace and order in the provincial capital.
He stressed that curbing crime remains the foremost priority of Lahore Police and assured that the ongoing crackdown would continue uninterrupted.
